Word has it that SOAS management has caved in and agreed to reinstate the sacked librarians, Fujiko Kobayashi and Sue Small. There will apparently also be a full review of the library restructuring with major representation from academic staff.
More information when I get it.

The fat lady hasn’t actually sung yet it seems. Talks continued at ACAS today, but I’m not sure whether a proper agreement has been reached. The AUT has suspended strike action but still has the option to name new dates for strike action if things don’t work out.
Hopefully better news tomorrow.
