					<description>Thanks for the words of encouragement. I've had some posts in mind for FiaW for a while but just haven't quite managed to write them. I hope to have something up there very soon for the new year. And maybe something here too when the pressure is off a bit and the Sword of Damocles is no longer dangling over my head...</description>

					<description>Isn't that the question that all of us dread? Having to explain to someone what your thesis is about? I'll just say it's something about nineteenth century Korean history. I think I'll post something more here when I've submitted or even when (if) it gets accepted.

					<description>It's a bit of a trek up it isn't it.  We went in the summer, spurring ourselves on with the imaginings of cool breezes at the top, but greeted by unmoving warm air and hundreds of flies!!! (and a fantastic view).

What's the thesis?  Mine's due in Sept...</description>
